PTA Updates

Safeway and King Soopers gift cards

During the Walk your Child to Class Day tomorrow (March 4th), the PTA Board Members will be in the front lobby to provide King Soopers and Safeway grocery cards to those who don’t have one. The cards are pre-loaded with $5.00 (our gift to you) and can be reloaded. Think of it as a Starbucks rewards card with the rewards coming back to Cory! We get 5% back on every purchase. What a gift for our Cory Community!!

Auction Update
We wanted to send a THANK YOU to all the parents that have volunteered to help their child’s class with their auction projects! If you volunteered to help out and have not submitted your project description, please forward it to plumeria0114@gmail.com by the end of the week.

We are still in need of a couple of more awesome parents to take on the exciting class projects for the following teachers…
Ms. Keldin
Mr. Melamed

The class projects are a major part of our annual auction/fundraiser as well as keepsake items that you will have for years. You don’t want to miss out!
Auction Donations:  WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!!

Why are my donations to the auction needed?

The top rated education that Cory is known for is not provided by state and federal funds alone. The auction is our largest fundraiser of the year. The money we raise at the auction helps make technology available to every student, provides for paraprofessionals in the classroom, and field trips to fine arts performances.

We need your donations to make this all possible!  Here are a few types of donations we are looking for, in no particular order…

· Any Apple product – iPad, Apple Watch, etc.

· WINE! – a bottle or two, or four of your favorite wines

· Restaurant Gift Cards – in any amount, to any favorite restaurant or two,

or more!

· Hotel Stays – a night or two at a hotel, if you have a connection, please ask, or we would love to contact them

· A Host – the auction favorite chef dinner is back, but we need a home to host the dinner. Contact us for more details

· Airline Miles – have any extra miles laying around? We could use them to help complete an amazing package!

Please visit the auction page on the Cory website  by clicking HERE or email coryauction1@gmail.com for any questions, donation forms, and a link to our sign up genius!

Box Tops results are in

Ms. Wing’s room won this year’s pizza party for collecting 891 tops this year. Congratulations to her classroom! And congratulations to Cory, who will be receiving over $600 as a result of the tops collected school wide this year.

We’ll be collecting again next year, so be sure to keep saving.

Thank you!
