| MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL Cory Families! Overall, it’s been a very positive second day of remote learning. I am so proud of our teachers and our staff, and of course our students and families. We know there were some hiccups that still need to be resolved, but I appreciate everyone’s patience and positivity as we work through the issues. Please note, our intentions this week are to reconnect with students and create a safe learning space. Therefore, our expectations are not to be overly rigorous but to test out our equipment, connect with students, and make sure things are working well. Once we feel we have a stable environment, the level of rigor in the class assignments will start to resemble what the students are used to seeing in class. Please continue to reach out to your teachers and share your successes and your questions. We are here for you! Joan Wieser Principal Technology Support: DPS and Google recently updated Google Meets. We hope this will resolve any technical difficulties. We apologize to the many families who experienced technical difficulties. There were many problems with ChromeBooks. If you run into any issues, please start by resetting your ChromeBook following these instructions. Student Council News: The Student Council is inviting everyone to wear purple and/or their Cory gear on Friday, April 10, to celebrate Cory and our first week “back” at school.
