Dear Cory Community,
I hope you have all purchased your tickets to the upcoming auction! It promises to be a wonderful event in support of all the great work happening at Cory. Your support is necessary to provide all of the additional program components that are a part of Cory including:

In other news our 3rd-5th grade students have been busily working through the state CMAS (Colorado Measures of Academic Success) testing in language arts and math. These tests are long and your students may be tired by the end of the day. Please make sure they are well rested and have a good breakfast each day. Testing will be completed by mid-April. Our students are doing an outstanding job persevering and showing grit through these long test sessions.
Our students also worked very hard this month on the April edition of The Cory Times. Students received their copies this week. Please make sure you stop by the office to pick up your copy. It is full of great articles written and edited by our great Cory students. Special thanks to our Editor-in-Chief Malin Wolfson. Get your copy today!
Finally, please be on the lookout next week for the annual DPS Parent Satisfaction Survey. The purpose of the survey is to gather feedback from parents on strengths and areas for improvement within the school. I am writing to encourage you to please fill out this survey and return it in the district provided, prepaid envelope. We hope to have at least a 90% participation rate. Your feedback is valuable! The information you provide enables us to make informed decisions for our school’s future. We are sending home one survey with the oldest child in a family. Once you have filled it out you can mail it in the pre-paid envelope to the Denver Pubic Schools or just drop it off in our main office and we will mail it in for you.

DINE OUT at the University Hills CHIPOTLE on Tuesday, April 10th between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. Chipotle will donate 50% of all food sales to Cory PTA. Visit Chipotle at 2760 S Colorado Blvd. Make sure to let your cashier know you are with Cory!
