Dear Cory Families,
| We hope to see you all this evening at The Price is Right Auction! This is an amazing event to support our school and all of the great work happening at Cory. Your donations and support allow us to provide full time specials teachers, a library/technology teacher, highly educated paras supporting students in our classrooms, online learning tools that engage and excite students with new problems and projects in math, science, social studies and literacy– we need your support! We couldn’t do all of the great things we do at Cory, or staff our school the way it is, without additional support from our community. Please consider online bidding if you can’t make the auction tonight!As we start planning for next year, I would like to urge all of you to please remember to fill out your parent satisfaction survey. It is very important for us to have your feedback on what we are doing well and what we could be doing better! Your feedback is important to our work. The surveys are due back to the Denver Public Schools on May 11th . You can mail them yourself in the pre-paid envelope or drop them off at our main office and we will mail them for you. |
As we gear up for the final weeks of school there are many upcoming events and celebrations. We look forward to seeing you at all of them!

ENROLLMENT 2018/2019
We are finalizing our numbers for next year. Our budget is directly determined by our enrollment. If you know that you will not be attending Cory next year, please call and let the office know as soon as possible. This will allow us to take students off of our wait list. Thank you.
CSC VOTING RESULTS ARE IN
Two new parent representatives were elected to Cory’s CSC: Shahla Hebets and Carrie Bernstein. We’d like to congratulate Shahla and Carrie on being elected and thank all the parent rep candidates for submitting nominations. Cory was fortunate to have such a great group of well-qualified nominees!
SPRING DANCE
Mark your calendars and pull out the leg warmers! Cory’s Spring Dance is taking us back to the 80s. DJ Chuck will keep it rockin’! Friday, May 4 from 6-8 pm in cafeteria. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Bring money to purchase from food trucks: Devil Dogs and Kona Ice.

Semantics Club will be canceled next Tuesday morning , April 24, as Mrs. Hopley will not be in the building that day. We will resume Semantics Club the following week. Thank you!
