Bawk! Bawk!
Cory Chicken Update

What is all that chirping happening in Mrs. Guerrero’s class? Well, she and her
students have been raising our new flock of baby chickens! Her students have
been feeding, watering, and socializing our new babies for the last three weeks.
We have twelve new baby chicks and families will be able to bid on the naming
rights at the Cory Auction tonight!
The new baby chicks will be placed in the chicken coop at the end of May, when
they have their adult feathers, with a convocation ceremony and the unveiling of
the names.

Where did the other chickens go?!

Adult chickens and baby chickens do not integrate well, unless they are hatched by
their mothers.

One of our amazing Cory families — Logan, Keegan, Leslie, and Connor Bushong have
always wanted to raise chickens so they adopted our six adult hens yesterday!
We are so happy for them and their new family!
