Message from the Principal

Cory Caregivers,

For safety, we are asking all caregivers to buzz in and state the reason for visit.  We also ask for each caregiver to provide an ID when entering Cory. Thank you so much for your cooperation!

Our Cory Cougars have been doing a wonderful job staying focused and having a positive mindset with CMAS testing.  We are so proud of their grit and perseverance.

As we approach the end of the school year, I am excited to share some updates regarding new positions within our school and to extend a warm welcome to our new educators joining the Cory Crew.

We are thrilled to welcome our new educators to our team for the upcoming school year.

  • Gifted and Talented – Summer De Herrera
  • Art – Jessica Plate
  • .5 4th grade literacy teacher- Dawn Gibbs

We are excited to share that some of our teachers transitioned to a new role for next school year.

  • STL/Literacy Intervention  – Sarah Clark
  • Literacy Intervention- Jenna Raiola
  • 3rd grade- Hannah Saul
  • 2nd grade- Elise Tilson

We are confident that they will bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to our learning environment, and we look forward to the positive impact they will have on our students.

At the same time, we want to take a moment to celebrate the dedicated staff members who will be moving on to new opportunities.

  • Shannon Murphy has resigned to focus on her family.
  • Riley Orta has resigned to focus on her family.
  • JJ Eagleston will be joining McAuliffe Middle School to be a math teacher.
  • Robyn Mayer will be joining the team at Lincoln next year.
  • Alison O’Connell has retired from her role from Cory.

Their contributions to our school community have been invaluable, and we are grateful for the impact they have made during their time at Cory. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors and know that they will continue to inspire and make a difference wherever they go.

As we transition into the next school year, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for our students, staff, and families. Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work together to create a thriving educational environment.
