Students showing multiple methods to solve complex problems.

Students enjoying the snow!

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Cory Families,

It is hard to believe it is already Spring Break – a week when we will get to enjoy a bit of time to rest and recharge. I do hope each and every one of you enjoy your time together! When we return, it is back to work to finish this year strong!

Cory stands in solidarity with our staff, families and community.  We stand against all forms of hate, racism, sexism and violence. Cory does not tolerate hateful words or actions in our school.  Please, care for one another. If you see or hear this kind of behavior, step in and stop it if you can. If you or your child witness something on school grounds, or in the community speak up. If you See Something, Say Something to a teacher or trusted adult.

Let us resist the urge to forge ahead “business as usual” and give ourselves permission for deep empathy. Maybe, then, we will feel moved to fight for changes that will actually make the world safer for everyone- not just some.

With our strong partnership, we can overcome any challenges together.

Best,

Joan Wieser
