Students were eager to share their evidence from the text in their written responses! Students grappled for 2 days on a task that required a conceptual understanding of the math standard. It was wonderful to see the multiple methods and math language at work.

In partnership with Denver Health, Connect for Health Colorado, and other local organizations, DPS is excited to host a FREE, outdoor health fair at Place Bridge Academy (7125 Cherry Creek Dr. North) on Friday, March 26 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Families can visit the fair to receive the services listed below.
COVID-19 testing
Basic vision testing
Dental exams with a dental hygienist (limited to the first 30 people)
Preventative health screenings: Glucose Testing (A1C), Blood Iron Testing (anemia), Body Mass Indexing Calculation, Blood Pressure Checkup, and more.
Elementary cohorts can now mix outdoors as long as students are wearing masks, beginning within grade levels (as opposed to across grade levels). We are hoping to add opportunities to mix outdoors in the future.
In the event of a COVID case in one cohort, the cohort that the student is a part of during the day will need to quarantine. The other cohort that only interacted with the student outdoors will not need to quarantine, as long as all students were masked.
On Monday, there will be several staff out to get the second dose of the vaccination. Please look for communication from your teacher if there will be an asynchronous day on Monday. Once again, snow is in the forecast for Sunday night and Monday. DPS will continue to monitor the situation closely and will share more information as soon as possible if there is a need to call a snow day.
