Cory Students had a virtual assembly around flexing their growth mindset! Ask your students what they learned from NED!

Hi Cory Families,

This is the student principal, Mrs.Smiley reporting on how school was today.

Mrs.Wieser and I stopped in the first grade classrooms and took a photo with Mrs.Fuch’s Class because she was my first grade teacher.

We observed many classrooms and had many meetings today.  I really enjoyed seeing kids working and learning. A student in  Mrs.Hanock’s (4th grade) was speed reading! Can you believe one student read 100 pages in 4min with perfect comprehension! Then we helped set up dividers for indoor lunch. We pulled students to do the Morning Welcome Video for Monday.  I also had the opportunity to make announcements to the entire school.  Then we went out for first grade and had lunch! We had a very busy morning!

DPS has updated the COVID 19 Screening and Testing Decision Tree.  Please use this document to support any decision making with your students.

Please don’t forget to check lost and found! We will bring all lost and found items out on the blacktop next Friday! Have a wonderful weekend! We will see everyone back on Monday!

Discovery Link summer camps will run from 6/13/22 – 8/5/22, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 7:00am – 5:30pm (with no camp on 7/4/22). Enrichment Exploration Camps will run the same dates from 7:30am – 5:30pm. Registration for camp will open in late January/early February – you will receive more information in the following weeks. We can’t wait to spend Summer in the City with you!
