Good afternoon Cory Community,
It’s day one and we already need your feedback!
The staff at Cory has been discussing the possibility of having an “Alternative to Homework Policy” in which we would limit or eliminate homework. We wanted to take a moment to survey the parents to gather feedback on whether or not this would be supported.
We will be discussing this survey with the CSC at our first meeting (this Thursday, August 25, 4-6 PM) , in hopes to make a solid decision in time to release at Back to School Night. Knowing that the quick turnaround is needed, please kindly respond by Wednesday, August 24th, 2:00PM so that your feedback can be considered.
As you are thinking about this survey, we ask you to read the current research from a few articles on the pros and cons of homework, particularly for the elementary aged child.
