Cory Heat Day’s- 9/7 And 9/8

Cory Families,

I hope everyone is well and staying cool. Due to the extreme heat this week, we are planning for two early release days. Wednesday, 9/7 and Thursday, 9/8, Cory will be dismissing all students at 12:30 pm. 

• Students will have specials.
• Students will have lunch/recess. Hot lunch will be an option for students. 
• Discovery Link will not be offered after school because of the heat.
• Transportation will be provided for students who take the bus each and every day at 12:30. The shuttle with Stephen Knight will also support pick-up and drop-off. 

As you may know, our building is on the list to have air conditioning installed, but that work has not yet been completed.

We would like to assure you that the safety and well-being of our students are our number one priority. The forecast is for temperatures to drop back to manageable temperatures by Friday and we expect to return to our normal schedule at that time.
