Dear Cory Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Cory Elementary! Whether you are a new or returning family, the Cory PTA is happy to have you join our community.

The Cory PTA is a vital component of learning at Cory. We host family events, help integrate new families into the Cory community, and fund classroom materials, specialized instruction, and school improvements.

Support from our families and community make all of this possible––and below are a few ways to get involved! 

Become a PTA Member
PTA membership is a great way to get involved in the Cory community, and members have a vote on any issues raised at monthly PTA meetings. Membership is $15 for an individual and $30 for a couple. Join today by submitting payment through PayPal or Venmo (@CoryElementary), and checks made out to “Cory Elementary PTA” can be dropped off in the front office.

Join a Volunteer Committee
We are seeking families who are interested in serving on our many volunteer committees. Stephanie Campbell will provide an overview of committees and roles, along with the volunteer needs for the 2022-2023 school year, at the PTA meeting on Friday, September 2. If you are interested in volunteering or learning more, please email Stephanie. 

Upcoming PTA Events

  • Saturday, August 27: Dine-Out at Shake Shack all day and be sure to mention “Cory” when ordering.
  • Saturday, August 27, 6:30 p.m.: Join us for Cory Family Movie Night! Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here, or through Venmo (@CoryElementary).
  • Friday, September 2, 8:30 a.m.: September PTA meeting in the cafeteria
  • Saturday, September 24, 10:00 a.m.: Cory FUN Run (PTA-sponsored community event)
