MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Cory Families!

Thank you all for a wonderful first week back! It was wonderful to see kiddos back in their virtual classrooms.  I want to personally thank you for your patience, perseverance, and support as we tackle this new practice of Remote Learning. We knew there would be some challenges with this roll-out, and we continue to make improvements each day. Nonetheless, I am very proud of our students and teachers for engaging in the online learning this week, and thank each of you as parents and family members for your help and support. These times are not ideal in numerous ways, and I am thankful for our community. Please continue to reach out to your student’s teacher(s) and/or myself with any questions or needs. Our hope is for students to begin to be more independent with this work starting next week, especially in the older grades. Please complete the following survey to provide us feedback on Cory’s online learning model. Daily Read-Alouds / Mindful Minutes Available
If you are looking for more “face time” and social interaction for your students, please check out my read alouds and daily mindful minutes starting on Monday. All of the read alouds/mindful minutes will also be recorded and posted in our Google Classroom, the code is qhtuqhl
Please continue to reach out to your teachers and share your successes and your questions. We are here for you!  We want this to be a positive and low-stress experience for you and your family, so please let us know right away if you need any help or modifications.
Joan Wieser
Principal
