Today’s weather lesson was taught by guest teachers Abby and Olivia. Both girls researched a topic to present to the class and did a wonderful job!
We are learning about shape attributes. Mrs. .Nagel showed us how to build a cube.
In Ms. Miller’s class students began a collaborative project about the geographic regions of Colorado. Each group is working to become experts on a particular region, and create a visual that their classmates can refer to throughout the unit.
In Mr. Doyle’s class the kids did a math workshop in which they explored equivalent expressions. Kids had to find a subtraction sentence and addition sentence that were equal and combine them together using the equal sign. Everybody was very proud of themselves and I wanted to share pictures of their hard work that I forgot to post earlier.

ROUND TWO! Schoolwide Social Emotional Screener!
Help us get 400 Cory parents/ guardians to complete our new school wide, social-emotional screener called the BESS!
Parents and guardians, please help us, help your child grow socially and emotionally this year! Please complete the ratings again, even if you did it in the Fall.
Take 5 (or less!) minutes to complete the Behavioral and Emotional Screening System (BESS) screener for your child. This helps us to better understand your child’s social and emotional needs. Results will be shared with your classroom teachers at the end of February so you can compare your child’s Fall and Winter ratings. The Winter screening window will remain open until mid-January and will reopen again in Spring for the final screening period of the 23-24 school year. You can complete the WINTER screener for your child by clicking on the link below. Thank you for your partnership!
