Cory Families,
Several elementary and middle schools in DPS have been ranked among the top schools in Colorado in a brand-new ranking released Tuesday by U.S. News & World Report and Cory is one of them!!!!
For the inaugural list, U.S. News published rankings and data on more than 80,000 public elementary and middle schools across the United States.

Calling all leaf-rakers, wheel-barrow-riders, and donut-eaters! Cory’s annual Grounds Clean Up Day is happening on Saturday,10/30 from 9:30am – 12pm! We’ll be raking leaves, clipping branches, planting bulbs, and helping put the Cory Garden to bed for the year, all while enjoying refreshments (did we mention donuts!) and good company! Students, parents, siblings, alums, grandparents, and any other Cory fans welcome! Mark your calendars, and please sign up to join us and bring some supplies.
Did you know that full-time specials and paras in the classroom cost an additional $554 per student? Your generosity––and that of all Cory families––helps bridge the gap between what DPS provides to Cory and what it takes to provide a top-ranked education to our children.
We couldn’t provide these things without your support to Friends of Cory. Please make your gift today!
Thank you to everyone who completed the PTA meeting time survey! We appreciate the feedback and heard from many of you that Friday mornings are preferable, while others would like to meet virtually in the evenings. For the upcoming PTA meeting on Friday, November 5, we have decided to meet in-person on campus at 8:30 a.m., as this is likely the last month that we will be able to meet outside until the spring. We plan to host the December meeting virtually on Wednesday, December 1 in the evening, so please save the date.

East High School’s clubs and sports teams will be hosting Trick-or-Treat Street on October 28 from 4:00-6:00pm in front of our school. This event is a fun, free, and safe way to trick-or-treat and participate in activities hosted by each club and team.
