Cory Families,
As the 2020-21 school year continues to change and shift, I am thankful for our amazing community, staff and students. I appreciate the support of our PTA and wonderful parent community for supporting our programs, providing parent volunteers for duty, and ensuring that all our kids have engaging opportunities. The PTA just donated voice amplifiers for our team of teachers. This has been a wonderful improvement for kiddos in hearing their teachers.
I am so proud to serve our fantastic teaching staff. Our staff continues to innovate lessons and units to support rigor, collaboration, student leadership, and student reflection and goal setting. The weekly use of student data has increased our effectiveness of differentiating for our students. As we continue to work through this pandemic, please reach out if we can support you in any way.

Thank you to all who have taken the time to volunteer in the morning and afternoon at Kiss n Go. We have added additional time slots for March. Please consider volunteering for 10-15 minutes in the morning or afternoon if you are able. It has really been helpful to the Cory staff and families in ensuring a safe start and end to our school day.

No Mardi Gras this year, no problem we’re bringing it to the Cory Merrill on Saturday, May 22 at 6:00 PM! The auction might be virtual this year, but that doesn’t mean you have to cook or make your own drinks! You can select from several different Mardi Gras dining and cocktail options.

Calling all 3rd grade families!!!!! Please help stock the teachers lounge Wednesday, March 17th. There will be a box outside of the side cafeteria door on Florida as well as at Kiss n Go in the morning. Items like snacks, drinks, granola bars, popcorn, mixed nuts, etc are all great ideas!!
