Happy Friday! I hope everyone is well and ready for the weekend! I want to thank the staff and families that attended our town hall yesterday. You asked great questions. If you missed it, you can view it here.
Please continue to check the Community FAQ for latest information on the return to in-person and virtual learning. We will have another town hall meeting on Thursday, Oct. 1st @ 5:30 to share more details of what to expect with in-person learning and virtual learning for quarter 2. Join Zoom Meeting

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING OCTOBER COUNT
October Count is the official student membership headcount for all Colorado public school districts. When students are enrolled, scheduled, and in attendance as of the official count day, the district receives an average of $7,400 in per pupil operating revenue.
Please understand that your child’s attendance during the October count window is extremely important. It is important for your students to be in attendance, even if it is for a portion of the day, in order for our school to receive funding.
October count window: September 24 – October 8.
Official October count day: Thursday, October 1.
If your child is out sick please call the attendance line 720-424-8380.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE CORY NURSE
When we return to in-person learning, it is important to know that the Cory nurse will only be at Cory on Mondays, Wednesday, and Thursdays. If you have medications that need to be dropped off, they need to be brought on one those days as they need to be given to the nurse only.
CORY DINES OUT
DINE OUT FOR CORY AT BULL AND BUSH!
We are excited to announce that our first dine out of the year is at Bull and Bush. Come by on Monday, September 28th from 11 until close and support Cory Elementary School. 15% of all sales-including takeout-will go to Cory PTA. Located at 4700 Cherry Creek South Drive-they have a fabulous outside dining area to accommodate our current social distancing
