Dawn Miller
Library & Technology Teacher




Dawn Miller grew up in Evanston, Illinois as well as Ann Arbor, Michigan. She has been settled in Colorado since 1998. She attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana for a BA in History, and then National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois for a Masters in Early Childhood Education. Later, after teaching for six years in the classroom, Dawn decided to get a Masters degree in order to become a Teacher Librarian. She has taught in Chicago, Winnetka, Illinois, Castle Rock, and is now at Cory. Dawn has been at Cory since 2007.

Dawn really enjoys teaching children about quality children’s books as well as information literacy skills. She believes there is nothing more exciting than seeing a child get excited about reading! In her free time she loves to read and spend time with her husband, her two boys, and her Yellow Lab. She also likes to hike, ski and bake.
