Cory Caregivers,
We are thrilled to share that Cory Elementary will be highlighted on 7 News for our innovative outdoor learning and cooking opportunities! Our Charlie Cart cooking classes, garden, chicken coop, and outdoor learning spaces have created such magical moments for our students—combining hands-on learning, community building, and joy. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved in the filming. Once we receive the air date, we will share it with our community so you can tune in and see our students and staff in action. A huge thank you to Skeeter for her passion, creativity, and tireless leadership in bringing these amazing outdoor learning opportunities to life for all our students. Her vision and dedication have transformed how our students engage with learning and with nature. We cannot wait to celebrate this moment with our entire Cory community!
Thank you so much to the families who engaged so thoughtfully in our recent CSC meeting on behavior management and school supports. We were deeply grateful for the opportunity to share the important work we do every day to support our students—academically, behaviorally, and socially-emotionally. Your questions, insights, and partnership strengthen our school community. We have included the presentation deck for families who would like to review the information. Your advocacy for all students and your willingness to learn alongside us means everything. Together, we are building a Cory where every child feels safe, supported, and celebrated. We will send out a FAQ next week with parent questions asked at the meeting.
