Cory Grounds Clean Up Day:  Sunday, Nov 5

Calling all leaf-rakers, wheel-barrow-riders, and donut-eaters!  Cory’s next community event is our annual Grounds Clean Up Day, happening on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 9am – 12pm!  We’ll be raking leaves, spreading mulch, and helping put the Cory Garden to bed for the year, all while enjoying refreshments (did we mention donuts!) and good company!  Students, parents, siblings, alums, grandparents, and any other Cory fans welcome!  An assortment of adult-sized tools and leaf bags will be provided, but we could use a few folks with portable leaf-blowers, and families are encouraged to bring along any kid-sized gear for young helpers.  Sign up to bring some gear, or just yourself

Girls On The Run Practice 5K

We have a strong team of 23 amazing girls representing Cory for Girls on the Run this fall season. The girls are learning important life skills and training to run a 5k.

We are hosting a practice 5K here at Cory on Monday, October 30th from 4-5p.

The girls will be running the perimeter of Cory-Merrill, around the John Paul ll Center and finishing on the playground behind Cory.We would love to see friends and parents cheering on the girls encouraging them along the way.

We hope you will join us to hold up a sign, speak some encouraging words, cheer loudly, honk a horn, and show some support for these girls as they prepare to run The Great Candy Run November 12th at Wash Park.
