Set Sail with Cory at the 2013 Auction!

What the auction means to our school…A Quick Read from Captain Jen (Principal)

Click Set Sail with Cory-A Letter From the Captain for the LONG (but very good, I must say!) Version!
The Annual Auction is critical in ensuring the funds are raised to allow us to Successfully Educate All Students. Currently, the majority of the funds raised go towards providing Para Support for each classroom. Click HERE for our current Para Schedule which highlights when your child’s teacher gets an additional set of hands to help! These paras could not work in the classrooms without funding from the auction. Monies raised at past auctions have also assisted with upgrading technology in various classrooms, mini-grants for teacher professional development and supplies.
So please join me as we “Set Sail” on Friday, April 12 at the Wellshire Event Center. You don’t want to miss it. In the meantime, I highly suggest that all of you brush up on your sailing vocabulary. Don’t let a little vocabulary such as freeboard, gooseneck, halyard, jackline, mainmast, mizzen, roller furler and stanchions prevent you from attending one of the most important events of the year! After all…there is always google to help get you up to speed!
